Why Columbus: Talent and Educational Systems: Dream It Do It

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT:  DREAM IT. DO IT.

The goal of Dream It. Do It. Southeast Indiana is to make this region of the Hoosier State the best place in the world for manufacturing and a major player in the global economy. To achieve this, we need a highly-skilled workforce, globally competitive companies, and a supportive business environment.  (Visit the campaign website)

Indiana’s Region 9 Workforce Board, in partnership with educators, businesses, government, and economic development officials throughout a 10-county area have launched Dream It. Do It.—the first such initiative in Indiana and the fifth in the United States.

The campaign is working closely with community leaders who understand the importance of manufacturing and the role it will play in the future of the Southeast Indiana region and our nation.

Our partners are uniting to support one of the country’s most essential industries, boost their local economy, and more importantly, help students find great, high-paying careers of which they can be proud.

For more information about the Dream It. Do It. campaign in the Southeast Indiana region and how you can be a part of it, please contact Jim Battin at jlbattin@sbcglobal.net or call 812.342.9424.
