The Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation recently commissioned a study conducted by Dr. John Peck of QUANTECH Research Associates to try to quantify the economic impact the hospital has on the community. Overall, the study shows that in 2004, CRH produced $250 million in area income and created 3,209 new jobs in the local area - dollars and jobs that would not otherwise exist locally in the absence of Columbus Regional Hospital.
